was today, except for two English classes last week, my first day at university. The POF's are just like all of life here-very very slowly! The lectures begin one hour, making it impossible to be done it before, just in time to be ... but that does not bother anyone anyway. The Prof's appear on average 10 minutes late, then go in peace, the list of participants (although this is only a "formality" and absolutely no relevance) has to preach for 10 to 15 minutes before classes end, a "see you tomorrow" and pack their stuff together in peace .... It seems that neither here nor Prof's students show great interest in the subject matter. The opportunities to start a career after graduation are very good in Ireland and a Diploma merely 'nice to have "... I hope this impression is confirmed when the first papers I've made and write the tests ;-)
