Open Versus Closed Patella Knee Brace

3 days, 4 students, 9 cities, 12 stations

It has been a long time coming, but finally News from ....

In the week of 5 to 9 March has given us the Uni-friendly instance a week freely given to ourselves to the "self-study" to be ... we have done so promptly! In order to study the island!

After detailed planning when we would be where and spontaneous change, this was the route with 12 stations.

(The quality of the map on the blog is not so great ... (almost) in clockwise rsinn: 1.Dundalk, 2 Dublin, 3rd Enniscorthy, 4. Wexford, 5 Rosslare, 6 New Ross, 7 Waterford 8th Tramore, 9 (Back to) Waterford, 10 Kilkenny, 11 Dublin 12 Dundalk)

On Tuesday morning we started in bright sunshine in Dundalk .

Vincent, Jacob, Pascal

was on the bus trip to Ireland from its best side and made it clear that it really is THE Green Island is! Of course, many due to the rain, but it is the sight worth from time to time to be wet ...

In Dublin we only had one hour of noon, and reached our first target: Enniscorthy . Enniscorthy is what one might call a "typical Irish town". With many small pubs, old-fashioned Irish architecture and a few places.

After about two hours it seemed as if everything as seen and enough "typical urban air," sniffed ... except from the tourist-Guide recommended pub J that offered just one thing: Guinness!

On to the next town: Wexford . Here we were looking first to the hostel. After the initial shock and the hope that it is not as bad inside as it appears from the outside, we opened the door of the restaurant owner ... and a nightmare come true. Not only from the landlord looked absolutely daunting, the rooms also gave her no more. We were the only guests (which can be concluded that the quality) and "allowed" us one of the less terrible Choose a room. To make the image perfect, we were asked to pay in cash because the credit card machine "would not work," which was presumed to have filled their own pockets of the innkeeper ... finally, he also "forgot" us the invoice . give

With photos of the interior, unfortunately, are not I-it was simply impossible to capture the room in all its cruelty ...

Anyway .... then we went into town and the port to Ireland to enjoy once more at night. The atmosphere with the economical exposure and the pubs is just incredible!

the evening we have - how could it be otherwise - can end in a pub. Thanks to some nice tips we've found a pub with live music. Once again a totally different atmosphere, one more time, just great!

Unfortunately we had some time back to the hostel, after a (involuntary) cold shower, a too long night followed with little Sleep and an inclusive breakfast, which we would rather not have taken us. But there was something positive: the moment in which we have returned to the hostel, never to return back!

It followed a morning at the harbor ...

... Wexford and the decision to leave a little early to visit Rosslare. According to the information in the tourist-info, that there would be "to see anything," we do not expect too much - and were pleasantly surprised!

Bright sunshine greeted us and offered a great view of the ferry and beach, as in the South.

The following pictures can easily contribute without comments ...

I repeat myself so reluctant, but once again plays a very different Ireland, plays great again: - )

with dry feet and sand in your shoes, we have arrived in New Ross . We only spent two hours and have pretty much seen it all ... a typical small Irish ... and so on :-)

that Irish cities are not only small and typically, proved Waterford . Here they found something that could almost be described as "large. ..." No ... "city" atmosphere. Many nice shops and people.

No, we have not eaten at McDonalds, but is the advice of the tourist-guides were followed and visited a pub. The food and the atmosphere was just great!

Here I was accosted by an Irishman in German (!!!)! When asked how he would have realized that I have to be German, I was told that he had studied three years in Berlin ... (???) ... after all, he replied in German :-).

PS: even if the euphoria of this moment may not really come off introduce yourself simply, you are surrounded for 3 weeks in Ireland, France and speak the first time in public in your native language, which means no other * happy-looking forward-happy *

Since we have found in Waterford not a free hostel for the night, we had to insert a stop in Tramore . The fact that is found in Tramore in a single hostel, which was purely coincidental availability and also was cheaper than in Wexford had nothing good ... hope.

But once again we were pleasantly surprised. The innkeeper was very organized (with a credit card machine, which in Ireland is really nothing special), a very pleasant hotel where the hostel is followed, which was no less beautiful. Let me be clear: Better not, it would be can!

The evening we spent in a pub is not exception, but went along the beach, and then pretty KO to fall into bed.

For breakfast we went into the hotel and very conveniently have a typical Irish breakfast arrived.

the morning, we spent longer than planned in Tramore, and have the sand dunes took a closer look at ... by the way, found us a dog and not left alone - but this one seems to be no great specificity.

Tramore After we spent the early afternoon in Waterford and the city a little visit.

then are we just decided to run Kilkenny. According to information should be here to see many sights. However, since we only had two hours time, we were able to visit only part.

This pub has been described in the tourist-guide as worth a visit because the walls were totally slanted and would appear only after a few Guinness straight. Given the short time we could only cast a quick look inside ... either I was already drunk (-course, exclusively of all the impressions) or pre-punched too much from the Hundertwasser House in Magdeburg ... at any rate, apart from the fact that someone the walls as an oblique considered nix inclined!

. ... Except maybe the quality of the photo-sorry for that!

Shortly It went back by bus to Dublin where we had about an hour stay.

Tired but happy and full of new impressions, we are in the night eingetrudelt Student Accommodation in Dundalk . The hope for a hot shower has not been fulfilled thanks to Irish art, but it's in your own bed :-)
