via the "food" that you get in the plane as set before you can say a lot - just not good. But at least you would think that in the kitchens of the catering business the most basic hygiene guidelines are followed.
Up to one such report gets into the hands (NOTE: Only suitable for people with a strong stomach). The Lufthansa subsidiary LSG SkyChefs the inspectors found in the kitchens in Denver including
- in the cutlery department more than 40 live cockroaches and other creepy-crawlies
- in two other departments, the number of cockroaches "too large to count" (Too Numerous to count)
- from the ceiling dripping water
- employees, the food with bare hands or unwashed gloves touched
- triggers as well as three places a nice little bacterium called Listeria monocylogenes, the listeriosis.
