occasion of our fourth trip to the USA in an RV (Recreation Vehicle or camper) is, above all, once again our daughter Manuela, our grandchildren Emily and our son to visit Örjan, which for over a year in San Diego live and which we of course miss very much. We hope that Emily knows us again after us every week, views on Skype.
If we fly there yet, we want to combine a visit to coincide with a small tour of the southwestern United States. This time we are content with a smaller, only 19 feet long vehicle (2006 we had a 26 foot long RV), which also is much easier and more economical in fuel consumption. This RV can be rented on the market since 2008, ie we have a big chance, an almost as good as new vehicle.
The season, however, do not allow us to drive into the mountains. We will mainly satisfied with the visit of two or three of the four major deserts of the southwest area (Mojave, Sonoran, and perhaps Grand Basin) and hope to be found under the heavy rainfall this winter, a flowering flora. When the snow is already melted enough, we will take the # 191 by the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest north to hike in Canyonlands National Park and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
